RECLAIMING BROTHERHOOD – Philly’s ManKind Project Forge New Paths

This segment was introduced by friend Steve Karpo who is a evangelistic advocate of the ManKind Project. Through Steve, was introduced to a number of brave men who I interviewed about their adventure from boy to manhood. The communication and marketing director, Boysen Hodgson gave me an excellent summary of what the ManKind Project is all about. Jim Katona story was particularly of interest because of his service work with the City of Philadelphia.

Tom Coyle and I shot this segment with the Sony A7 with a prime 50mm Lens. We used on led key light as we had decent exposure from windows. We recorded the sound separately but in the edit I just used AI to correct the sound from the A7’s camera mic as I didn’t have time to sync the sound. Premier Pro was the editing tool used and had obtained stock footage from Pexels.com. The credits are listed below:
