In celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the Continental Congress young delegates and teachers from the original 13 colonies gathered in Philadelphia for a week to discuss issues of civics and democracy called the Young People’s Continental Congress (YPCC). Tom Coyle & I snagged this project for the August 2024 VOICES show. We filmed all of our interviews and b-roll footage in one afternoon in Philly in and around the National Constitution Center. We were warmly welcome by the staff of National History Day and National Constitution Center. We were impressed to hear the ideas and visions these young delegates who we hope will be future leaders in America. We shot our interviews with a Canon Rebel with a prime 50mm lens and Canon XA10. Most b-roll was captured with DJI Osmo.
